Mamata Banerjee won’t participate in oath ceremony of Karnataka CM

All India Trinamool Congress Chairperson and West Bengal Chief Minister, Smt. Mamata Banerjee, received a personal invitation from Karnataka Chief Minister designate, Mr. Siddaramaiah, and his colleagues to attend the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for tomorrow. While congratulating Siddaramaiah on his new role, Banerjee conveyed her best wishes for the event.

However, Mamata Banerjee has decided not to participate in the oath ceremony of the Karnataka Chief Minister. Instead, she has designated Dr. Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, Trinamool Congress' Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha, to represent the party at the ceremony.

Banerjee's decision not to attend the ceremony in person indicates her prior commitments and engagements in West Bengal.

Despite her absence, Banerjee's congratulatory message and the delegation of Dr. Ghosh Dastidar reflect the cordial relationship between the All India Trinamool Congress and the incoming Karnataka government.
